With the precision and tracking of the Robotic technology, precise measurements can be realised anywhere the prism can be seen. Then, when the robot is not in line of site, the operator can switch seamlessly to GNSS positioning on the RTK rover pole.

This professional Total Station also features Topcon’s signature MAGNET on-board software, which features an intuitive interface to make staking out even the most complex environments that much easier; work either directly with the colour touchscreen or with the alpha-numeric keyboard.

What’s more, every instrument in the DS range is also equipped with TSshield; a world-first telematics-based multi-function communications module, providing for ultimate security and maintenance capabilities.

If the activated instrument is lost or stolen, a coded signal can be sent from anywhere in the world to the instrument in order to disable it.

Not only does TSshield protect the machine, it also allows each module to have daily connectivity to cloud-based Topcon servers that can inform the user of software updates and firmware enhancements.
