Increase your efficiency with improved Topcon – Autodesk Workflow

Data exchange between office and field just got easier for Topcon-Autodesk users. Topcon and Autodesk continue to work closely together to make sure our users get the most concise and succinct workflow through collaboration, interoperability, and commitment to openness in our software. As a result, our customers continue to gain great efficiencies.

July 13, 2016 – Topcon-Autodesk users can now create a Topcon MAGNET Job file (*.mjf) directly in Autodesk Point Layout. This combines all points created in Autodesk Point Layout with linework from a dwg file. This MAGNET job file is then sent to the field using MAGNET Enterprise or may be saved to the desktop. All data is managed securely through MAGNET Enterprise.

This data exchange functionality is available in the newly released version R3 of Autodesk Point Layout. To get version Autodesk Point Layout R3, please contact Autodesk or your Autodesk reseller directly.
