FARO Launches New X-Series Laser Scanner

 

June 2014 – Delivering fantastic power, a compact design and the flexibility to perform laser scanning in both indoor and outdoor environments, the new FARO Focus3D X 130 is ideal for a multitude of applications.

The newest member of the FARO X-series family features a scanning range of 130m making it the ideal tool for mid-range scanning tasks such as architecture, BIM, civil engineering, facility management, industrial manufacturing and even forensics and accident reconstruction.

 

The ultra-portable Focus3D X 130 enables fast, straightforward, and accurate measurements of architectural façades, complex structures, production and supply facilities, accident sites, and large-volume components.

Combining the highest-precision scanning technology with true mobility, the new device offers real-time views of recorded data and thanks to its integrated GPS receiver; is able to correlate individual scans in post-processing.

What’s more the Focus3D X 130 is completely safe to use and comes fitted with a class 1 “eye safe” laser.
